Within the Technical team of our Client there is an opportunity for a young graduate or internship:

Minimum a Bachelar student in Chemical Technology or equivalent

Project description
Due to the updated WBDA (Warenwetbesluit drukapparatuur) all owner users are required to reclassify their pressure equipment and piping. Different data is required for the reclassification analysis.
This requires the student to systemize PFD’s based on process service and transferring this to the P&ID level.
Per equipment/pipe the process service components need to be determined using Heat & Material Balance sheets, process descriptions, operator training manuals and in some cases the HYSIS models.
Beside the main process service the vapor pressure, flashpoint, design temperature and pressure, pipe diameter and volume are required to do the reclassification.
The candidate will have to collect all this data using different systems. The aim is to complete all piping and equipment of all our refinery process units.
Depending on candidates skills, additional automated calculation logarithms can be developed in excel to make the reclassification more efficient.
Training of other team members in the reclassification topic, how to interpret the national legislation and the use of different tools, systems and standards would be welcomed.

Duration of the project: 6 to 9 months
The office is not accessible by public transport, therefore being in possession of a car is necessary
Good knowledge of Dutch and English both in word and in writing
In this project the candidate gets the opportunity to get a good understanding of all refinery process units at our Client, how these are operated and linked to each other.
